What is a QR Code?
A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) designed to be read by smartphones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded may be text, a URL, or other data.
The QR Challenge!
The Next Big Idea will be featuring a scavenger hunt-like game in which the objective is to locate, scan, and record all QR Codes that are located throughout the Next Big Idea Festival.
The starting location for this Challenge is at the event's Information Booth on the southest side of Ashley Pond. Here you will be provided your QR Challenge materials, some quick instructions, and then you can set off on your search!
Each QR Code you scan will unlock clues that lead you to the locations of other QR Codes. Be sure to record where you find each QR Code on your Challenge card! If you find all 7 codes, you will have successfully located every QR Challenge code at Next Big Idea, and should claim your your prize back at the Information Booth!
